Secret Horrors
For Black History Month 2026 I told the story of eleven children born in a Louisiana prison and sold by the state. From one essay came a newspaper special, a flipbook, original artwork, three songs, talk slides and an education pack.
Thirty years in community media, starting in community radio in 1995.

The Practice
Stories, platforms, and ideas aren't separate disciplines for me. They're the same practice, surfacing in different forms.
The work happens in conversation — with collaborators, with the culture, with the thing itself as it emerges. Deep conversation produces both the thinking and the making simultaneously. A platform is an essay. An essay is a system. A story is a way of seeing. They feed each other, and the throughline is honest attention to how things actually work.

- No. I gather interviews, notes and photos with you, with signed consent from everyone who shares a story.

- Yes. Talks can be online or in person, and most work can be done remotely.
